The Fishers Island Club is open seasonally from mid May through October. During the beginning and end of the season, we are open for dining business only on weekends. Through out the week we are setting up for the peak season as well as hosting golf tournaments. During peak season (Mid June through Labor Day), the Club is in operation 7 days a week. The golf course is open 7 days a week for the complete season. There are employment opportunities for most time frames, however all employees must be able to stay through Labor Day weekend. Average hours per week are 40 - 50. Generally that is about $15.00 per week and when you file your taxes at the end of the year you have a chance to get most of the monies back depending out what you make for the year. *Meals are provided free of charge (breakfast, lunch and dinner) *Transportation is provided to and from work (the housing is approx. 3 1/2 miles from the club) *A bonus is given as a thank you based on hours worked, position, performance, appearance, attitude and completion of your contract. |
